Let's Make Poverty an Election Issue!

Be fully informed to make healthy choices in the 2018 Ontario election.

Ask your provincial election candidates where they and their parties stand on poverty-related issues that affect your health.

These issues include income, food insecurity, housing, access to dental care, prescription drug coverage, and access to affordable licensed daycare. Each of these issues is as important to people's well-being as doctor shortages and hospital emergency room wait times.

Armed with the facts on election day (June 7, 2018), vote for the candidate you think will work best to decrease barriers and improve access to better health for everyone!

Take Action:

• Support income-based solutions such as the Basic Income Guarantee, increases to minimum wage, and better employment standards.

Send a message to your Candidates/Ontario Party Leaders.
