Ask your local candidates where they stand on key issues that affect our health:


    Income

    1. What will your party do to make sure social assistance rates cover the true costs of shelter, food and other basic needs?

    2. Is your party willing to reform and update the current social assistance system?

    1. How will your party bring more jobs to Ontario?

    2. What would your party do to ensure working parents and adults going back to school can get the childcare they need?

  1. What is your party’s plan to help people have enough money to meet basic needs?


  2. Food Insecurity

    1. Do you/your party support measures that would boost income to address poverty and food insecurity? Specifically, do you support the basic income guarantee, an increase to the minimum wage, and higher social assistance rates?

    2. What else would your party do to make sure people have enough money to pay for the food needed to stay healthy?


  3. Housing

    1. What would your party do to maintain and build more safe and affordable housing for people who need it?
