Time to S.T.O.P. Smoking

If you are a smoker, it's time to clear the air of your deadly tobacco addiction.

The free Smoking Treatment for Ontario Patients (S.T.O.P.) Program can help.

S.T.O.P. is a unique, no-charge, quit-smoking program that provides resources and five weeks of nicotine patches free-of-charge to smokers. The goal is to help people quit for good.

S.T.O.P sessions are being offered as follows:

City of Kawartha Lakes

• January 29 at 1:30 pm

• February 21 at 10 am

Northumberland County

• February 26 at 9:30 am

• February 28 at 9 am

The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is partnering with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health to offer the S.T.O.P. Program in this area.
