Time to S.T.O.P. Smoking

If you are a smoker, it's time to clear the air of your deadly tobacco addiction.

The free Smoking Treatment for Ontario Patients (S.T.O.P.) Program can help.

S.T.O.P. is a unique quit-smoking program that provides resources and five weeks of nicotine patches free-of-charge to smokers. The goal is to help people quit for good.

Smokers can take part in any of these one-day S.T.O.P. sessions being offered as follows:

• January 23 at 10 am in Lindsay

• January 25 at 10 am in Port Hope

• February 6 at 10 am in Haliburton

• February 27 at 5 pm in Cobourg

• March 8 at 10 am in Lindsay

The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is partnering with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health to offer the S.T.O.P. Program in this area.
