Flood Safety

Storms and spring run-off can cause flooding for homeowners throughout the area. When the water finally recedes, there are a number of factors to consider to be sure your home is clean and safe once again.

Please note that the Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit (HKPR) advises that residents on well water affected by flooding should boil water for one minute at a rolling boil or obtain alternate potable water.
