Brush Up on the Facts!

Brush Up on the Facts banner

April is Oral Health Month! It’s also a good time to check up on your child’s oral health.

Good oral health leads to good overall health. Dental pain can cause children to miss school and develop problems with chewing, sleeping, concentrating and learning.

Support your child's oral health by:

• Brushing teeth twice per day, in the morning and night.

• Spending at least two minutes brushing each time.

• Using a pea-sized amount of toothpaste each time you brush

• Flossing daily.

• Choosing a healthy diet and limit sugary drinks and sticky candy.

• Visiting a dental professional on a regular basis.

Can't Afford to See a Dentist?
