- Health Unit Recognizes Staff Members Celebrating Long-Service Milestones in 2014 -

A group of Health Unit staff members are being recognized for their long-service to the organization and commitment to public health programs in the area.\

The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is recognizing the following individuals for long-service milestones in 2014. Staff members celebrating milestones this year include:

30 years: Sue Hochu (Registered Dental Hygienist), Jennifer Styles (Administrative Assistant), Janet Leadbeater (Public Health Nurse)

• 25 years: Anne McCracken (Communicable Disease Control Nurse), Debbie Dean (Certified Dental Assistant)

• 15 years: Anne-Marie Cyr (Manager of Professional Practice and Accountability), Jennifer Robertson (Public Health Nurse), Denise Smith (Sexual Health Nurse), Chandra Tremblay (Manager of Communication Services)

• 10 years: Shelley Shaughnessy (Family Health Nurse), Carol Chan (Public Health Inspector), Dearbhla Lynch (Health Promoter), Sharon Woodhouse (Public Health Food Worker), Debbi Wilson (Administrative Assistant), Melanie White (Family Health Nurse), Dr. Lynn Noseworthy (Medical Officer of Health)

A special luncheon was held after the Board of Health meeting in November, at which board members recognized and congratulated a number of employees celebrating anniversaries with the Health Unit.
