Heads Up on Winter Safety
If you are taking part in winter activities, use your head and gear up for safety.
The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit encourages you to wear properly-fitting helmets when taking part in hockey, skiing, snowboarding, skating, tobogganing and other snow-related sports. Wearing a helmet is important to reduce your risk of injury...no matter what the sport and no matter what the season!
