Family Health

Mom and babyThrough our Family Health program, we provide information and resources that encourage people to adopt healthy behaviours and have healthy sexual relationships. We promote personal responsibility and decision making, while working to improve access to birth control and help decrease teen pregnancies. We offer a variety of services to help ensure the children in our communities grow up healthy. We provide education and support to people wanting to become parents, to pregnant women, to new parents and their babies.

Our staff encourage the well-being of families through personal visits to new moms where we provide information on breastfeeding and the care of infants and young children. We offer programs that provide support for parents in everything from playing and reading with children to developing stronger parenting skills.
