PORT HOPE (July 7, 2023) — The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge (HKPR) District Health Unit is advising that the Heat Warning Alert issued on July 4, 2023 and the Extended Heat Warning Alert issued on July 5, 2023 for the County of Haliburton, City of Kawartha Lakes and Northumberland County has ended effective today as a result of Environment Canada forecasting cooler temperatures and less humid air.
